After a successful first run out last year, NessBookFest (NBF) is returning for 2017. This October we will be holding a four-day event with the emphasis on local writers, artists and publishers, alongside guest speakers from further afield.
NBF 2017 will take place in Inverness in the Central Library, local schools, and Waterstones Inverness – with more venues yet be announced. Most events will be ticketed but free of charge to attend. Each event will last an hour or so, with ongoing children’s activities and some parallel sessions. Participants will include picture book and children’s authors, crime and thriller authors, poets, illustrators, non-fiction writers, publishers, etc etc. There will also be a literary walking tour and various outreach activities, including workshops. Please keep and eye on our ‘News’, ‘Guests’ and ‘What’s On’ pages for further details.
Sponsorship and Donations
We’d be delighted to speak to you about your options if you were interested in sponsoring a particular event or strand of the programme. We will of course acknowledge your business on all our promotional materials, as well as on our website, Twitter and Facebook feeds.
Please get in touch with us (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss this further.
We are committed to keeping the events at NessBookFest free for those who attend, but we also think it’s important to pay our performers (writing and illustrating etc is their job, after all). Every little helps with this, and if you are able to offer any support, no matter how small, we would very much appreciate it.
